High style from NSCAD

On Saturday, April 19, senior fashion and textile students at NSCAD will display their collections on the runway at the Senior Students’ Fashion Show.
The Port Campus on Marginal Road hosts the show. The collections of 19 young designers will include everything from loungewear to couture. Madeleine Leroux, one of the student designers and an organizer of the show, says it offers a great chance to see the talent of designers in the city’s fashion scene. “There’s a little bit of everything,” she adds. “Local talents tend to be more interesting. If you want something more interesting, more unique, it’s always great to look at local talent.”
